Experience

Danny L. Kepner’s practice includes many general legal matters, with much of his time spent in civil litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death cases. He is very active in the medical malpractice field, having handled such cases for over 30 years.

Mr. Kepner is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts, the United States Courts of Appeal for the 6th and 11th Circuits, the United States Claims Court, and the United States Supreme Court. He has been Board certified in civil trial practice for 27 years. He is also certified as a Circuit Court Civil Mediator.

He has served as secretary of the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association, chairman of the local Florida Bar Grievance Committee, chairman of the statewide Florida Bar Clients' Security Fund Committee, and as a grader of Florida Bar Examinations. He is presently a member of the First Circuit Senior Judge's Review Board and the Bench-Bar Professionalism Committee.

During law school, he was a member of Florida State University’s intercollegiate Moot Court Team and co-author of the law school’s legal research handbook. He spent four years on active duty in the U.S. Navy, which brought him to Pensacola.

Community Service

A former Red Cross volunteer, he has served as the chairman of the local board. He has participated in Leadership Pensacola, served as a board member and chairman of the Private Industry Council, and has led the Advisory Council for the local Boy Scouts Law Explorer Program. He is a life member of Five Flags Sertoma Club and serves on the non-profit Speech and Hearing Board. An active Olive Baptist Church member and Deacon, he has served as chairman of the Missions Committee.
