Experience

Geoff Brodersen is an associate attorney with Shell, Fleming, Davis & Menge, with a broad-based civil litigation practice. He handles cases involving bad faith, insurance, personal injury, property disputes, contractual disputes, maritime and Longshoreman claims, construction, employment disputes, benefit claims and commercial appraisals, as well as appellate work. Geoff ’s practice is currently focused on representing individual clients, companies, and insurers involved in commercial disputes. Prior to his work as a civil attorney, Geoff served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 1st Judicial Circuit of Florida, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases.

Prior to law school, Geoff worked in the Washington, D.C. area for a political consulting firm developing Political Action Committees for corporations. He then attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL where he received his Juris Doctor degree. While at Florida Coastal Geoff received book awards in Toxic Torts, Environmental Law, Criminal Procedure and State and Local Government. Mr. Brodersen is licensed to practice before all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Community Service

Geoff is a member of the Escambia/Santa Rosa County Bar Association and the Pensacola chapter of the American Inns of Court and has volunteered with the Fiesta Forces and participated in the Holidays in January event through the young lawyers group.
